Alarka brings two decades of experience in financial management, business partnering, and advisory roles.  His work also combines financial and systems expertise, helping organisations improve financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and leverage technology to improve decision-making.  His career includes roles in large not-for-profits, higher education, and complex service organisations, where he has earned a reputation for providing data-driven insights, strengthening financial governance, and supporting executive decision-making.

A strategic, solutions-oriented finance leader, Alarka specialises in comprehensive financial planning and analysis, operational budgeting, multi-year forecasting, project and grant accounting, financial modelling, tender submissions, and ESG-focused organisational performance.  He has extensive experience working with executive leaders to optimise costs, enhance financial capability, and deliver sustainable outcomes across Operations, IT, People & Culture, Fleet, and Procurement.

Before joining Giuntabell, Alarka held senior positions at Bolton Clarke, overseeing financial strategy for large metropolitan and regional service operations, and at The University of Queensland, managing end-to-end finance functions across numerous research and academic units.  His focus consistently remains on translating financial data into actionable insights, enhancing organisational decision-making, and guiding leaders through periods of transformation.
